The Man Behind Some of
Music Industry's Best Artists: Kevin Bond

In
the world of gospel music, Kevin Bond is possibly the finest producer in
the field. Kevin began his gospel music career in 1983 in Chicago. He
founded Bonded Music Publishing and Bonded Enterprises in 1980. A well
established keyboardist and music director, he also moved into the
position of a music producer, experiencing a tremendous amount of
success. His work has earned him an astounding 10 Grammy's, 30 Stellar
Awards and numerous other awards and accolades.
Kevin's faith is
the driving force behind everything that he does. As someone that works
in the ministry, his faith is at the core of all his daily decisions. He
says, "It's impossible for me to separate my work and my faith. The
truth is that I can tell whether or not a person has a strong faith
based upon the decisions that they make daily."
Kevin's motivation
in life comes from his desire to make God smile. Kevin says, "He has
given me the power and the opportunity to build wealth; therefore, I
must do all that I can to make Him smile." The other driving motivation
in Kevin's life is his family.
Kevin Bond has
been married to his wonderful wife, Toni Bond for 14 years, and they
have 4 children, Phillip, Kiara, Alex III and Taylor. They all reside in
Atlanta, Georgia. How does Kevin balance his work and his family? "My
family is a part of all that I do business-wise," he says. Kevin often
takes his family with him when he travels so that they all can
experience the moments together. He went on to say, "To not include your
family is to alienate them from one of the most valuable lessons you all
can experience." Kevin's entire family is a vital inspiration to all of
the work that he does. He loves to see joy on their faces as they all
experience new things together.
His current work
includes his book,
A Servant's Guide from a Servant's Heart, Ministry from A to Z,
and his Bonded DVD series.
Kevin lives his
life with passion and intends to die empty! By that he means that he
will have poured out to others all that he has to give before he leaves
this earth. He lives his life in alignment with a quote from John
Maxwell, "There's no success without a successor." In his own words,
Kevin believes that people should, "Aspire to Inspire Before (They)
Expire."
What's next for
Kevin? He plans to produce a series of personal instructional DVD's for
those up and coming artists in the industry. He will also be hosting an
Internet based talk show entitled "Center-Stage" on
